Notes: 1) The Company is primarily engaged in the business of manufacture & sale of copper products. Hence these have been grouped as a single segment in the above disclosures. The said treatment is in accordance with the Accounting Standard on "Segment Reporting (AS-17)
2) The provision of deferred Tax will be considered at the end of the year
3) There is a dispute with Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board in respect of Electricity Duty payable, pending for a long time, amounting to Rs. 3152 Lakh (as on 30.09.2006) which is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. Necessary provision for expenditure will be made in the accounts on the final outcome of the court order.
4) The share money awaiting allotment as on 30-09-2006 is Rs. 5500 Lacs.
5) The statutory auditors have conducted a limited review of the above financial information.
6) Figures for the previous period have been rearranged wherever necessary
